OUR PHILOSOPHY
'Everyday Porrada' is the Brazilian version of 'No Pain, No Gain'. In short, every day is a battle! No matter what, we train hard every day and do our best to get better.
With this in mind, we decided to found Porrada Fightwear: a brand dedicated to athletes looking for the best martial arts gear that empowers them to dedicate 200% of their energy to training, thus becoming a better version of themselves day after day.
Where does 'EVERYDAY PORRADA' come from?
The expression's popularity was started by Romulo Barral during an interview following his submission victory over AJ Sousa at the ACB JJ tournament in Long Beach in 2018.
When the journalist congratulated him on his victory by submission and asked him what his secret was, Romulo simply replied: "My secret is to train hard every day, everyday Porrada. That's it, nothing else!"
